• Battledrome Championships: Spring

Compete for a Laptop and other great electronics prizes at a Battledrome Championship to conclude the Spring Season! These events are invite only, however a last chance Battledrome Qualifier will be held the day of the Championship in the morning prior to each event which will allow the Top 8 players from the Battledrome Qualifier to play in the Battledrome Championship later in the day.

 

Battledrome Qualifiers and Championships will be held the same day at each of the below locations. The Championship will usually begin 4-5 hours after the Qualifier depending on the number of Qualifier attendees. The Qualifier and Championship are considered two different tournaments, as such, the Top 8 players from the Qualifier may use a new deck for the Championship.

 

25 Battledrome Championships (with morning Qualifiers) will be held across North America between June 20th - 28th.

 

Battledrome Qualifier Event Details:

•  Entry Fee: $20
•  Format: Constructed 6v6
•  Open to all eligible players who are not already qualified for the Battledrome Championship
•  Swiss, Top 8 finishers qualify for the Battledrome Championship later in the day

Battledrome Championship Event Details:

•  Entry Fee: None
•  Format: Constructed 6v6
•  Open to all players with a Spring Battledrome Championship Invite and the Top 8 players from the day's earlier Battledrome Qualifer
•  Swiss with Top 8 Single Elimination

Championship Prize Structure:
•  1st place: Lenovo IdeaPad S10 Atom, invitation to the 2009 World Championship
•  2nd place: iPod Touch 8GB
•  3rd – 4th: Nintendo DSi
•  Top 8: Custom Chaotic Playmat
